Is your athlete battling the WRONG opponent?




Is your athlete managing their EMOTIONAL storms? 

When athletes learn to handle fear, doubt, nerves, and frustration, a SHIFT occurs. 

They focus LESS on what’s happening outside of them and MORE on what’s happening inside. 

Why? Because they see the TRUTH; the opponent is WITHIN. 

As a 2X Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach, my most important job is helping athletes SCOUT that opponent, know that opponent INSIDE and OUT. 

Then we strategize and put together a game plan. 

Think about the WISDOM of this approach. Now your athlete is solving the RIGHT problem. 

Sport is a series of storms, most of them are EMOTIONAL. And that's a PROBLEM. 

Now your athlete understands where to put their attention; CALM the storm. They recognize the storm brewing INSIDE. They see the opponent is THEMSELVES. 

When uncomfortable emotions arise, they HANDLE them rather than being HANDLED.  It's time to get a game plan and write a scouting report on your athlete's toughest opponent. Help your athlete CALM THE EMOTIONAL STORM.
