What are you doing with your emotions?

Mental Toughness is the ability to acknowledge, understand and manage emotions.

Why?

Sport is a series of storms and most of the storms are emotional.

I'm a 2x Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach and I help my clients build a toolkit to manage the storms.

That toolkit allows them to SAVE THEMSELVES.

Save yourself from furious by shifting to curious:

  • Furious is EMOTIONAL. When your emotions are high, you miss information that's right in front of you.

  • Curious is RATIONAL. When you are rational, you see information that's right in front of you.

Become a detective, look for clues and get CURIOUS:

  • What did that mistake show me?

  • How can I fix it?

  • What do I need to spend more practice/training time on?

  • What can I learn from that loss?

  • What gaps does it show me?

  • If I had a do-over, what would I do differently?


CURIOUS not FURIOUS. That's what your Greatest Self would do.
