STOP giving BAD advice.

"Just get out there and be confident!"

This is terrible advice.

I'm a 2x Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach. Sport is a series of emotional storms and this is one of them.

Confidence is an emotion based on results and without results to rely on, there is no confidence.

So, instead of your athlete waiting for confidence to appear, help them tap into their courage. It's an action they can choose.

Help them choose courage to try something new, courage to make a mistake. What about the courage to think, look, and talk like their Greatest Self?

That's how you get results. And that's how you get your athletes to play with confidence; they first show up with courage.

Still need more guidance? Gold Medal Team is the perfect place for you. Get advice, ask me questions, and get on a live Zoom call with me every month! It's really that easy.

CHANGE DOESN'T TAKE TIME. IT TAKES COURAGEOUS ACTION.
