Teammates giving you the cold shoulder?

Shawnee Harle

How does your child, your athlete handle teammates that treat them like this:

  • ignore

  • cold shoulder

  • eye roll

I'm a 2x Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach. This is the advice I offer:

PURSUIT DYNAMIC: When you pursue someone who doesn't want to be caught, they run. The harder you chase, the faster they run.

What if you stopped pursuing and put your energy into other teammates that want to be caught?

When you chase, it feels needy; to the person being chased and consciously or unconsciously, you feel it too.

Strength univerally attracts, weakness universally repels.

When you stop pursuing and stand in your strength, the right people are attracted.

Mental Toughness Master Class helps athletes add emotional intelligence to their toolkit.

November 12: 1 hr, 3 concepts, $67 (includes your immediate family).

CHANGE DOESN'T TAKE TIME. IT TAKE COURAGEOUS ACTION.
